Analysis in Maxqda

Qualitative analysis is often seen as intimidating, but with the right tools it can be insightful and rewarding. In this course we will discuss several coding strategies and analytic techniques, including (reflexive) thematic analysis, grounded theory and interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA). In the second half of the course, we will practice these strategies and techniques, while also paying attention to data management, coding and analysis in MAXQDA. We will also critically examine the ethical considerations and opportunities that generative AI-tools bring to qualitative research.
